Bible Verses
John:
4:42 We no longer believe just because of what you said;
now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior
of the world.
5:24 I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and
believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has
crossed over from death to life.
5:28-30 A time is coming when all who are in their
graves will hear his voice and come out those who have done good will rise to
live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do
nothing.
6:35; 37-38; 40 He who comes to me will never go
hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty…. whoever comes to me I
will never drive away…but to do the will of him who sent me…. my Father’s will
is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal

Romans:
1:16-17 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is
the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew,
then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a
righteousness that is by faith from first to last just as it is written: The
righteous will live by faith.
7:19, 23-25 For what I do is not the good I want to do;
no the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing… but I see another law at
work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making
me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I
am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God- through Jesus

the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
Romans8:15/ John 8:34 Talks about how to be set Free
8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a
slave again to fear but you received the Spirit of sonship.
8:17 We share in his sufferings in order that we may
also share in his glory.
13:1-2 There is no authority except that which God has
established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God
has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
14:1 Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing
judgment on disputable matters.
14:8 If we live we live to the Lord; and if we die we
die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

2 Corinthians:
12:10 For when I am weak, then I am strong.

he lives by God’s power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God’s power we
will live with him to serve you. Examine yourselves to see whether you are in
the faith; test yourselves.
13:9 Our prayer is for your perfection.
Ephesians:
2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works so that
no one can boast.
5:16-20 Making the most of every opportunity because
the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s
will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled

1 Thessalonians:
5:12 respect those who work hard among you, who are over
you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love
because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers
warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with
everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong but always try to be
kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always; pray continually;
give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ
Jesus. Do not put out the Spirits fire, do not treat prophecies with contempt.
Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
2 Timothy:
1:7,9 Spirit of power, of love and of
self-discipline…who has saved us and called us to holy life-not because of
anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace
2:3-5 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of
Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs-he
wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as an
athlete, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according the
rules.
2:9 Salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal
glory. Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died
with him, we will also live with him;
If we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown
him, he will also disown us;
If we are
faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
Titus:
3:1-2 Be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no
one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
3:5 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had
done, but because of his mercy.
3:9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and
arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and
useless.
1 Peter:
3:8-9 Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one
another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not
repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this
you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
1 John:
1:6-9 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk
in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the
light, as he is in the light we have fellowship with one another, and the blood
of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we
deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purity us from all
unrighteousness.
2:5-6 This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims
